Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for conducting various imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment. This role requires expertise in specialized equipment and procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, 3D imaging, and special procedures
• Prepare access sites and maintain sterile fields
• Assist with interventional procedures such as angiography, biopsies, and catheter placements
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and stock supplies as necessary
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and use of PPE

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NJ Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT(R) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
