Night Shift Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours per week available. Must work at least 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must also work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery unit, which consists of 10 beds. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns. The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible according to the facility's scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and effective nursing care in a Labor & Delivery environment.
• Monitor and assess patients, providing critical care and support during labor.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure best practices and quality outcomes.
• Document patient care using EPIC and OBIX systems.
• May need to float to mother/baby and Newborn Nursery (NBN) as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certification required.
• C-EFM fetal monitoring certification preferred.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position lasting 16 weeks or longer.
