MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Weekend requirements include every other weekend.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry unit. The nurse will monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare team members to create effective care plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and telemetry results.
• Administer medications and manage IVs and blood products.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Document all patient information accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; NIH stroke certification preferred.
• Tele competency is required, previous charge experience is preferred.
