MS/Tele RN - Acute Care Hospital

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12s, Days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM with ratios of 1:5-6. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele RN for our acute care hospital. The candidate will provide care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population, managing various diagnoses including diabetes, hypertension, and coronary artery disease.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per current protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions utilizing telemetry.
• Provide education to patients and families about health maintenance and disease process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring and cardiac management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• SC RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
• Telemetry competency required; previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred.
