CVICU Registered Nurse – Night and Day Shifts

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with potential for extension up to 20 weeks.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Shifts:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Note: Shifts may rotate based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular intensive care, exhibit excellent clinical judgment, and demonstrate effective communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions in the CVICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
