Level II Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts (D/E/N) with every other weekend required. Must be available for Holidays, On-Call, and Callback as per unit needs.

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is responsible for providing competent care based on established standards. This role includes an expanded level of responsibility, which may involve serving as a charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality telemetry nursing care
• Assist in the management of patient care units
• Participate in clinical practice and professional development initiatives
• Engage in research and evidence-based practice
• Provide mentorship and guidance as a preceptor
• Serve on committees as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in New York (only)
• Two (2) years of nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
