6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, with a requirement for every other weekend and holiday support.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a medical intensive care unit (ICU) position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care, specifically in large facilities, and will be skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, hemodynamic status, and response to treatment.
• Manage ventilators and IV pharmacology, including sedation and paralytics.
• Assist with bedside procedures, such as chest tube insertion and intubations.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and participate in nurse leader rounding.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Medical ICU experience in a large facility.
• Must be a critical thinker, flexible, and able to work collaboratively.
• Advanced skills in ventilator management and critical care pharmacology.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Comfort with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and central line management.
