Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR Traveler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with specialized experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join our team as a traveler. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hybrid Cath Lab environment, contributing to vital surgical procedures and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgery, including ensuring sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care during cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment throughout the procedure.
• Participate in post-operative care and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and procedural standards in the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license per Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) standards.
• Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Specific experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures is required.
• Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program.

Schedule

This position requires working four 10-hour shifts per week, with a rotating call schedule.
