Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct nursing care for patients in antepartum, intrapartum, surgical, and PACU recovery settings. This role requires floating to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for laboring patients with a patient ratio of 1-2.
• Work within a unit that includes 11 beds, 3 triage beds, 2 PACU beds, and 2 operating rooms.
• Ensure adherence to nursing standards and protocols throughout care delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications are mandatory.
• Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Course is required.
