Registered Nurse - Cardiac PCU/IMCU

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a cardiac population, managing various conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-surgical thoracic patients. This role may also involve care for telemetry beds with lower acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 28 bed PCU/IMCU.
• Monitor patients on cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
• Ensure adherence to safety and care protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years documented experience in a similar sized facility and PCU environment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
