Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mid 4x10-Hour Shift: Monday to Thursday, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM with an on-call rotation among staff members Friday to Sunday.

Job Description

The Computed Tomography Technologist performs high-quality CT examinations following established protocols for diverse patient populations, ranging from newborns to geriatrics, for interpretation by physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency CT examinations.
• Accurately administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as necessary.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to support staffing needs during peak times or in emergencies.
• Utilize the PACS system to manage and retrieve patient images effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CT imaging experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• SCRQSA (CT) certification and South Carolina state license in hand before start date.
