Postpartum Registered Nurse

6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

The Postpartum Registered Nurse will provide care to mothers and newborns in the postpartum phase. The role may require floating to different departments based on census and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for postpartum patients.
• Monitor patient status and report any changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate new mothers on post-delivery care and breastfeeding.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Current and active Registered Nurse license with no hits.
• AHA, ARC, or ASHI certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AFM.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
