Radiotherapy Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5 x 8 hours (Monday through Friday) day shift with a 0700 - 0800 start time.

Job Description

We are seeking two experienced Radiotherapy Technologists to support our Radiation Oncology department. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience, adeptly setting up and aligning patients for radiation therapy treatments using various imaging techniques as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Properly set up and align patients for radiation therapy treatments.
• Assess patient status during direct interactions and make appropriate referrals.
• Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart/film checks and room setup.
• Perform calculations and maintain electronic medical records (MOSAIQ).
• Conduct patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed.
• Collaborate with other radiation therapists and team members to complete additional tasks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred.
• Current ARRT certification and CA RTT license required.
• BLS certification necessary.
