Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

This is a day shift position, with a schedule of 4x10 hours (07:00 - 19:30). The role includes on-call rotation and requires availability for every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide in-center hemodialysis services to patients, as well as bedside hemodialysis for ICU patients unable to travel. Responsibilities include connecting and disconnecting patients from their peritoneal dialysis treatment. Must be familiar with Fresenius machines, as orientation will be provided on the specific equipment used in the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer in-center hemodialysis and bedside hemodialysis.
• Connect and disconnect patients from peritoneal dialysis.
• Ensure patient safety and monitor vital signs during treatments.
• Educate patients regarding their treatment plans and medications.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent dialysis experience required.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
