Swing Bed RN - Travel Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, floating and call required. Call varies, and floating is required within the scope of practice and clinical competency in Rehab and Med/Surg.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Swing Bed RN for a travel position. The nurse will provide general skilled nursing (SNF) level of care, performing nursing duties efficiently while ensuring the well-being of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to swing bed patients.
• Manage medication administration and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date in the EMR system (MedHost).
• Respond to changes in patient conditions and provide immediate care as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Fingerprinting for New Mexico travelers is mandatory.
