Registered Nurse - PCU Float Pool

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.

Job Description

The PCU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) with a focus on cardiac populations. This position will require floating to all relevant floors as needed. The nurse will manage patients recovering from conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and other cardiac-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a PCU/IMCU environment.
• Administer medications and cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized facility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Active RN license in the appropriate state.
