Travel RN - Med Surg

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM); every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN to join our Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care and maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions; report changes as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Compact or Alabama RN License.
• BLS certification required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience required.
• Patient ratio of 6 to 1.
