Travel NICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Weekend Days: 3:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

The Travel NICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a variety of patients, ranging from stable feeder-growers to critical level 3 patients. The nurse will work in a 40-bed NICU unit with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. The role requires floating to assist in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to NICU patients.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN licensure in the state.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
