Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4-10 hour days, Monday through Friday from 06:30 to 17:00. On-call requirements include 1-2 shifts a week from 17:00 to 23:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will be responsible for circulating surgical cases and managing all nursing care within the operating room. The role requires observing the surgical team from a broad perspective and assisting the team in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for the patient's surgery.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases and manage nursing care within the operating room.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing surgery.
• Observe and assist the surgical team as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center.
• Experience with daVinci Robot, neuro-spine and cranial, pediatric OR, and ortho trauma.
• Certifications required: RN license, BLS, ACLS.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
