Orthopedic Operating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week over 4-10 hour days. Start times will vary between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Additionally, on-call responsibilities include 1 day per week and every 4th weekend.

Job Description

As an Orthopedic Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting surgical teams and providing exceptional patient care in the operating room. Your expertise in orthopedic procedures, particularly with Mako knee and hip technology, will be invaluable to our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and care of surgical patients in the orthopedic unit.
• Support surgical teams with advanced robotic-assisted technologies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Experience in Orthopedic nursing, specifically with Mako knee and hip procedures.
• Completion of required health screenings and vaccinations as per onboarding requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments.
