Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with a 36-hour schedule and 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend and holiday shifts included, with potential for floating per department guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have stroke experience and NIHSS certification, ensuring high-quality patient care in an intensive care unit setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and manage life support systems as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months ICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Preferred: Travel experience.
