Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Float

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to float between two Emergency Departments. The position requires prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center and a minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience. Candidates will also be expected to work in a hospital with a capacity of 500+ beds. Travel experience is highly preferred, and all candidates must hold specific life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Float between assigned emergency department locations as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent ER experience.
• Active RN license with no hits.
• Current life support certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, from approved vendors.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
