Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. No weekends or call required.

Job Description

The Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will provide diagnostic aid to physicians by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administer and record isotope dosages in accordance with established departmental protocols while observing patients during procedures and reporting any abnormal activity. The Technologist will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks under general supervision, typically reporting to a chief technologist or manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct organ or body scans on patients.
• Administer and record isotope dosages according to protocols.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal activities.
• Plan and conduct various tasks in accordance with departmental standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Nuclear Medicine Technology certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Nuclear Medicine state licensure required.
• Experience with Philips Brightspeed preferred.
• Fingerprinting required for all Nuclear Medicine travelers.
