CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, Monday to Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with 4 days of call required each month.

Job Description

The CT Technologist provides professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic C-T examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician and in compliance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include providing C-T care to patients for obtaining diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by the radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct biopsy and drainage procedures as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of CT technology and imaging systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols when using contrast media.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care during imaging procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT CT certification is required.
• Experience with both CT and X-ray procedures is necessary.
• Must be licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
