Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Must be available for every other weekend.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for women during labor and delivery while supporting both the mother and baby. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-risk labor and delivery unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients during the labor and delivery process.
• Conduct assessments and respond to patient needs effectively.
• Assist with various procedures including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current AK RN license required for auto offer.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRPS.
• Charge experience preferred or willingness to train as charge nurse.
