Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a night shift position in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate must have the ability to circulate and be proficient in providing care to high-risk deliveries while adhering to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, including cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries.
• Administer medication and therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal conditions throughout labor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Current active RN license in California.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Must be able to circulate in labor and delivery settings.
