Registered Nurse - Night Shift 4x12-Hour

Schedule

This is a night shift position working four 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekends and holidays may be included, with no call required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver comprehensive nursing care in a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit. The nurse will be exposed to a diverse patient population including Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery, and Orthopedics. The RN is expected to float to like acuities or less if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and monitor patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments, including Insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips.
• Participate in patient assessments and care plans.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an RN.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications required.
• An active NC or compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred.
