Schedule

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:00)
• Weekends: Every other weekend

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ER setting, addressing a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and develop nursing care plans for emergency patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York State RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
