AM shift: 5 × 8 hr shifts; 40 hrs/week

• Tuesday & Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Wednesday & Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Monday: Off

Job Description

The primary care Registered Nurse (RN) will provide essential support in two pediatric clinics. Responsibilities include assisting with nurse visits, administering medications, handling sick visits, and managing patient telephone calls. The RN will also assist with updating Letters of Medical Necessity, medication refills, notifying patients of results, and scheduling post-hospital follow-up visits. This position requires floating between the two clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nurse visits and sick visits.
• Administer medications and vaccinations.
• Manage patient phone calls and inquiries.
• Update and maintain Letters of Medical Necessity.
• Process medication refills and notify patients of results.
• Schedule post-hospital follow-up visits.
• Float between two clinic locations as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric primary care.
• Current RN license required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Experience with vaccine administration, venipuncture, nebulizer treatments, and medication administration preferred.
