Job Description

Plans and administers medically prescribed Physical Therapy treatments for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disease, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to diagnose movement dysfunction and design appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer physical therapy treatments in accordance with prescribed plan.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding recovery and physical therapy procedures.
• Document all treatments and patient progress in electronic medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic and neuro settings.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient physical therapy is preferred.
• MT Physical Therapist license must be in hand.
• Proficient electronic medical records experience is required; EPIC experience is preferred.
