Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, with rotating weekends. No on-call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. This role requires a skilled and experienced nursing professional who can provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing critical care procedures and responding to emergency situations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the medical team.
• Perform emergency procedures and treatments as required.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in the management of behavioral health situations and implement de-escalation techniques.
• Educate patients and families about health issues and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in good standing.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certification are required.
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech and trauma care.
• Inpatient experience is highly desirable.
