Registered Nurse - Stepdown Unit

Night shift: 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Stepdown Unit. This position requires expertise in caring for patients who are transitioning from intensive care to more progressive levels of care. There is potential for the nurse to float to other units, such as PCU, ED, and more, based on patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Stepdown Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in a Stepdown/PCU setting.
• Current and active Ohio RN license or Compact State License required.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
