Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care for a diverse patient population, primarily adults, ensuring personalized and seamless care throughout the patient’s journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and medication administration
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care options
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult)
• BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred but not required
• 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or med-surg setting
• Drug test (10-panel screening) must be completed prior to start
• Background check, including criminal and child abuse clearances, must be cleared prior to start
