Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:00), Every Other Weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, including general medical and surgical patients with a variety of conditions. The nurse will work in a telemetry unit and must possess strong clinical skills and ability to manage multiple patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care on a telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6-7.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to observe and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Provide educational support and guidance to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in hand.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred, especially in charge roles.
