Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit, with proficiency in managing high acuity cases and performing essential nursing procedures. This position primarily involves providing care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

Responsibilities

• Circulate during cesarean sections and assist in the operating room as needed.
• Manage IV drips such as magnesium and other high-acuity medications.
• Provide comprehensive care in the antepartum and postpartum units.
• Conduct assessments and monitoring of fetal heart rates.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWOHHN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate.
• Experience with labor and delivery nursing in a Level III NICU setting.
• Scrubbing and circulating experience in the OR preferred.
