Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 16:30).

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients at various stages of life, from neonates to geriatrics. The technologist will utilize advanced imaging equipment and techniques to provide high-quality imaging for assessment and diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations including obstetric, abdominal, and vascular studies.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment effectively.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Document findings accurately and communicate results to the medical team.
• Follow protocols and adhere to safety standards in a clinical environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ultrasound imaging.
• Must possess ARDMS certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to handle various patient demographics, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
