Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Description

The Pain Management RN will provide nursing care in a busy procedural unit specializing in interventional pain management. This role requires proficiency in EPIC charting and experience with various pain management procedures. The RN will be expected to manage a high volume of patients, ensuring safety and effective pain management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adult patients undergoing interventional pain management procedures.
• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care within a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate adeptness with IV starts and medication reconciliation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer anesthesia as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with preference for pain management, PACU, or OR experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• A valid California RN license is required at the time of submittal.
• Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
