This position requires a rotating schedule consisting of day and evening shifts, with a commitment to weekend and on-call duties as needed.

Job Description

The Certified Surgical Scrub Tech will be responsible for assisting in operating rooms, ensuring that necessary instruments and supplies are available, and maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures. This position requires flexibility, as the schedule is subject to changes and floating between areas is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by performing scrub duties for general and sports medicine cases.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all necessary equipment is prepared for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support patient safety and care during procedures.
• Adapt to floating requirements as needed across multiple departments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, with at least 1 year in a Level 1 trauma facility in the last year.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
• Prior travel experience is required.
