Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Job Description

Join a complete Cath Lab that utilizes Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons to provide comprehensive cardiac and peripheral services in Southwest Oklahoma. As a Cath Lab RN, you will work a day shift and be responsible for monitoring patients in the Cath Lab. Your proficiency with devices such as the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various atherectomy devices is essential to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients in the Cath Lab during various interventional procedures, including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy.
• Perform carotid diagnostic and stenting, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Conduct pacemaker insertion, tilt table tests, and kyphoplasty procedures.
• Assist with pre- and post-procedural care.
• Transport patients as needed and provide assistance with assigned duties.

Schedule

This position consists of 8-hour day shifts, 5 days a week, with 7 days of on-call duty per month, which are not consecutive. A total of 36 hours is guaranteed each week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience is required.
• Recent traveler experience is preferred.
• ACLS certification (AHA) is preferred.
• Current Oklahoma State License or compact license.
• BLS (AHA) certification is required.
• NIH certification is required.
