Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

40 hours per week with varied shifts:

• 4 ten-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• 5 eight-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care in the electrophysiology laboratory setting. The nurse will assist with various electrophysiology procedures, monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage any changes in condition.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures.
• Collaborate with the medical team to deliver optimal care.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Prior experience in electrophysiology is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Valid RN license is required.
