Schedule

6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, with weekend requirements of a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit. This unit focuses on providing high-level care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery and vascular surgery procedures. The nurse will work closely with a team to deliver excellent patient care in a progressive care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients recovering from cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Experience in stepdown and telemetry nursing; prior experience in cardiovascular surgery care preferred.
