Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The PACU is a high-paced unit focusing on postoperative recovery and monitoring for patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals and recovery progress in the PACU setting.
• Administer medications and provide interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Perform ventilator monitoring and other advanced nursing skills.
• Provide clear communication to patients and families regarding recovery status.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Experience with trauma and pediatrics preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale experience is a plus.
• Advanced skills in ventilator monitoring required.
