Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on patient care and demonstrate the ability to manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting.
• Monitor and manage patients with arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, and ventilated patients.
• Administer cardiovascular and vasopressor drips according to established protocols.
• Perform bedside central line placements and participate in massive transfusion protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize GE monitors and Alaris pumps effectively in patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of critical care experience.
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system is required.
• Current ACLS certification is mandatory.
• NIH certification is preferred.
