Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM) with a 7:30 AM start time. Alternative schedule options include 5x8 hours at 40 hours per week if preferred.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform nuclear imaging procedures, including administration of radioisotopes and conducting diagnostic tests. Technologists must accurately analyze images and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear medicine procedures and imaging tests.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain equipment and prepare reports on imaging results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• NJ state licensure as required.
• BLS certification required.
• RT (N) or CNMT certification required.
