Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15). Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and various patient care activities including bowel obstruction management, renal failure care, and hemodialysis management.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring patient vitals and conditions using telemetry.
• Administering medications and blood products as required.
• Providing pre and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Managing feeding tubes and colostomy/ileostomy care.
• Conducting phlebotomy and central line blood draws.
• Utilizing rapid response and code team protocols as necessary.
• Floating to other units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
