Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department while demonstrating proficiency in handling a diverse array of critical cases.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage and monitor patients with complex medical conditions.
• Provide care for stroke patients as part of a Primary Stroke Center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Ensure compliance with emergency protocols and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of recent emergency room nursing experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Valid Maryland RN license or Compact RN license.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
