Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our I CARE team in the Respiratory Department. In this role, you will perform quality respiratory treatments and testing on all age groups, assist in patient and family education, and help develop plans for successful discharges. You will play a critical role in both inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting various tests and providing care for inpatients and those in the emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Administer quality respiratory treatments and accurate testing across all age groups.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory diseases and medications.
• Conduct various respiratory tests, including Pulmonary Function Tests, Stress Tests, and EKGs.
• Develop and implement plans for patient discharge and follow-up care.
• Work independently in a Critical Access Hospital environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Must be a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist licensed in the State of Montana.
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS are required.
• Newborn experience is necessary.
