Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00). On-call required 1x/week and one weekend every 6 weeks for call only.

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will be responsible for contributing to the care of patients undergoing cardiothoracic procedures. This role requires the ability to scrub all open heart cases. Robotic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in on various cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Assist in maintaining sterile environment and adhere to aseptic technique.
• Work collaboratively with a highly specialized surgical team.
• Ensure readiness of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and institutional guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS certification.
• Must have NBSTSA or ASATT certification.
• Current Washington state license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience with cardiac procedures.
• Recent cardiac experience is a hard stop requirement.
