RN House Supervisor

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00). Every other weekend required, with block scheduling.

Job Description

The RN House Supervisor will primarily be responsible for facilitating the operations of a critical access hospital. This role requires the ability to support various units including the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, Medical/Surgical, Labor and Delivery, and Surgical Services. While not primarily a direct patient care role, the house supervisor must be prepared to assist in patient care needs as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and oversight of nursing staff across multiple units.
• Facilitating hospital operations and departmental coordination.
• Providing leadership and guidance to nursing teams.
• Assisting with patient care needs, including potential resuscitation during labor and delivery.
• Supporting the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in WA or Compact state.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Two years of charge nurse or house supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit settings is required.
• Travel experience is necessary.
