Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, floating required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Med Surg RN to provide exceptional patient care. In this role, you will float between departments as needed, managing a patient load with a ratio of 6:1 in a med-surg setting. Experience with EMR, specifically Cerner, is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Float between 2nd and 3rd floor Med Surg units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a med-surg nursing role.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS certification within 6 months of start date.
